APPLE WALNUT AND WHITE CHOCOLATE COOKIES

Preparation Time: 20 mins

Cook Time: 15 mins

Servings: 40

Ingredients;

1/2 Cup (125ml) Butter ( softened)

1 Cup (250ml) Packed Brown Sugar

1 Ontario Egg

1-3/4 Cups (425ml) All-Purpose Flour

1/2 Tsp (2ml) of each Nutmeg, and Baking Soda

A Pinch of Salt

1/2 Cup (125ml) Chopped, Toasted Walnuts

4 oz. (125g), White Chocolate, Coarsely Chopped

Preparation;

In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar, and egg until smooth and well blended.  Combine; flour, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt.  Add to the creamed mixture, mixing well.

Stir in chopped apple, walnuts, and white chocolate. Drop by small spoonfuls, approximately 2 inches (5cm) apart, onto a prepared pan ( parchment paper works best).

Bake at 375° F ( 190 ° C) for about 15 minutes or until golden brown in color.  Let cool on cooling racks.
